Careers in Football has worked with professional football clubs for over 4 years delivering workshops, designing specific programmes and working with players on a 121 basis. Here are some examples of our work:
Careersinfootball.com is delighted to support Brentford FC throughout the 2018/19 & 2019/20 season with our specialist career services. This includes working with the 1st team and B team and creating specific programmes to enhance the players off the pitch to help them on it.
Careersinfootball.com has supported the Premier League with a number of events with players off the pitch. This includes redirecting players if they have been released (video above) and exciting players whilst they are in professional Academies.

“Having completed some research and attending meetings with external companies, we selected Toby and his Careers in Football session as an integral componetn of this seasons delivery. Right from the word go, Toby knew what he was talking about, having had experience in delivering such sessions to Premier League clubs and their academies. In addition, he got the limitations that we work in, day in, day out; the players don’t think about tomorrow, never mind have an idea of what career they would like to pursue or be open to the idea of not playing for a living.
Toby tailored his presentation and the learning points within it to cater for this and still achieve his objective of engaging the players in the first instance. Consistently linking the sport and its athletes to the wider world to achieve the ‘buy in’ that is so important with groups such as these. Overall, the session was a success and has given us much food for thought on how we can improve this further still and support our players for seasons to come, with the help of Toby and Careers in Football.”
